KNIGHTSTOWN  – Two weeks after city leaders took it down, the cross on the town square Christmas tree in Knightstown is back on display.

Cell phone video shows crews returning the cross to a new spot on the tree near the top.

The return comes after the ACLU filed a lawsuit over the Christian symbol claiming it violates the First Amendment.

The lawsuit led to outcry from many neighbors and businesses who even put their own crosses out in protest.

Knightstown leaders called-off a public meeting Wednesday to discuss the cross controversy.
