Downtown traffic stop uncovers guns and drugs

INDIANAPOLIS–After spotting a vehicle with several equipment violations, Metro Police initiated a traffic stop in the downtown entertainment zone Sunday afternoon. As the IMPD officer approached the vehicle, he observed the driver attempt to conceal a handgun.  An assisting officer observed a rifle lying on the backseat of the vehicle.
