Gov. Pence to visit Montgomery, Howard counties Thursday after tornado outbreak

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Indiana governor and Republican vice president nominee Mike Pence left the campaign trail Wednesday and returned to Indiana as strong storms and tornadoes ripped through the Hoosier State.

Pence said in a press conference that 27 counties reported tornado warnings. Eight tornadoes were confirmed in the state, and at least three touched down.
