Grundy pleads guilty to marijuana charge, gets 2 years probation

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – The leader of “The Grundy Crew” pleaded guilty Tuesday morning in one of the several cases he is charged in.

In exchange for pleading guilty to one count of dealing marijuana, a class C felony, prosecutors are dropping seven other felony charges against Richard Grundy III, including conspiracy to commit murder.

With credit for time served and good behavior, he was sentenced to two years probation.

The deal was finalized less than two weeks after Grundy and two others were shot at a cemetery during a funeral procession.
