Harrison moved into the historic Loeb Building at 323 Columbia Street after spending several years on the city’s east side. When Harrison opened in Lafayette in 1905 as Lafayette Business College, it was located just a few buildings down from this new location.

“Students, faculty and staff are excited to be a part of this new chapter in Harrison’s long history in Lafayette,” said Cindy Clampitt, campus president of Harrison College in Lafayette. “For more than a century, Harrison has been educating and preparing students for fulfilling careers in Tippecanoe County and surrounding communities. Being downtown again gives our students and the community improved access to our campus and more opportunities to work with community partners in the business and health sciences fields.”

Harrison invited the community to take part in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, in front of the new location at 323 Columbia Street. An open house will followed, including tours of the refurbished building and refreshments.

At Harrison’s Lafayette campus, students can pursue bachelor’s and associate degrees as well as shorter-term diploma programs in business, criminal justice and health sciences. Harrison is currently enrolling for its next start date on August 1.
