Indianapolis Mayor Hogsett’s son pays fine, avoids jail time in marijuana case


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– The son of Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett will not face time in jail after he was arrested on a marijuana charge in July.

As part of a plea agreement, William Hogsett agreed to pay $333, and not use alcohol or any non-prescription drugs. He must also not commit any criminal offenses for a year and maintain general good behavior.
