INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Two Indianapolis Public Schools employees, who face charges for failing to report sex abuse allegations against a counselor, are set to be in court Tuesday morning.

Lela “Tina” Hester and Shalon Dabney face misdemeanor charges for failure to make a report. Prosecutors say they were aware of allegations that counselor Shana Taylor was having sex with two students at Longfellow Alternative School, but waited six days to report it. The allegations first surfaced on Feb. 17; a report wasn’t submitted to DCS until Feb. 23.
