Prosecution rests in Syracuse double murder trial

The prosecution has rested in the trial of a Syracuse double murder, that’s according to our reporting partners at Goshen News.

Brandon Woody and Kyle Dehart each face two counts of murder in connection with the February 2015 slayings.

In court Wednesday, body camera video was shown from one of the first officers who responded to the scene.

Prosecutors say Woody shot and killed Tara Thornburg and Joshua Knisley while stealing marijuana from them.

He was allegedly with Dehart and a third man identified as Thomas Hursey.

Woody and Dehart are being tried together.
