Report: Pacers shopping Paul George before trade deadline

INDIANAPOLIS — With hours to go before Thursday’s 3 p.m. NBA trade deadline, the Indiana Pacers have been shopping star forward Paul George to multiple teams, ESPN reported.

Sources tell ESPN the Pacers have invited the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers to make pitches for George.

George, 26, is having another great statistical season. He’s averaging 22.3 points and 6.2 assists per game, but it hasn’t led to as many wins for the team. The Pacers are 29-28, and have lost six straight.
