St. Elmo owners launching burger joint

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) – One of the best-known restaurants in Indianapolis is ready to roll out a new burger restaurant downtown.

Burger Study, a companion restaurant to St. Elmo Steak House, is slated to open next month and is taking applications online and hosting job fairs to fill 60 openings, according to our newsgathering partners at Inside INdiana Business. Positions include servers, bartenders and line and prep cooks.

“We are very proud of the team we have built at St. Elmo Steak House and Harry & Izzy’s. And opening new restaurants allows us to provide opportunities for those existing team members as well as add to our family of hospitality professionals,” co-proprietor Craig Huse says.

The restaurant is being described as upscale and will have room for 130 guests in the 5,000 square-foot space.

Hiring fairs will be held the rest of the month at St. Elmo Steak House on August 14-18 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m., and August 21-25 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
