Supect arrested in Muncie stabbing death


MUNCIE, Ind.  – Police in Muncie are investigating a homicide which occurred Tuesday morning.

The stabbing death occurred around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of South Vine Street. William Stover-Laudermilt, 27, suffered a neck wound in the incident and later died at Ball Memorial Hospital.

Police arrested 37-year-old Jeremy Wayne Bisel, who has been preliminarily charged with murder, battery resulting in bodily injury and battery with a deadly weapon.

Police say the victim’s mother found Bisel, who was allegedly an intruder into the home, inside the house at the time of the stabbing, armed with two knives and a baseball bat.
