Threatening letters show up in mailboxes of Muncie school board members: “I’m watching you”

MUNCIE, Ind. — School board members in Muncie are concerned over a series of anonymous threatening letters that have been showing up in their mailboxes.

School Board President Debbie Feik said members had received hundreds of letters in the past year since they hired Steve Baule as superintendent.

And it’s no secret that there are many issues with Muncie Schools that have been an ongoing topic of controversy. Hundreds of people have turned up at recent board meetings to voice their concerns about school closings and the outsourcing of busing in the district.
