Tom Brady is NFL’s top-selling jersey this offseason – even in Indiana

Indiana, you’ve got some explaining to do.

According to NFLShop.com, the top selling NFL jersey during the offseason belonged to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

No surprise, right? He’s coming off another Super Bowl win, Boston and the surrounding states are a major market and if you listen to the major sports networks everyone outside of Indiana loves him, right?

Did we say outside Indiana?

Um, Houston (Indiana, a bend in the road in the southeast corner of Brown County State Park)…we have a problem.

The survey broke down jersey sales by state and of the seven non-New England states Brady topped, the Hoosier State is one of them. (Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Montana, New Mexico and West Virginia are the others.

In fact, no Colts players’ jerseys appeared in the top 25 of the NFL’s sales list. Following Brady in the top five were new Oakland Raider Marshawn Lynch, Dallas Cowboys sophomore stars Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot and Raiders quarterback Derek Carr.

Houston Texans rookie Deshaun Watson is the lone AFC South representative in the rankings, checking in at #14.
